The Hau Tree Lanai is the favorite beachfront restaurant for visitors and long-time residents alike. The Eggs Benedict and poi pancakes at breakfast are famous. Luncheon meals are just as taste-tempting; hearty sandwiches, curries, pastas, fresh island fish and vegetarian dishes. Dinner specialties include poultry, pasta, steak and lobster, and fresh seafood entrees. Each selection is carefully prepared, superbly served and reasonably priced. Preparation ranges from traditional American to Asian inspired. All the while you’ll be dining alfresco beneath the ancient Hau trees where author Robert Louis Stevenson lounged and wrote.

There is no finer indulgence than to start a beautiful Hawaiian morning with our eggs Benedict. Superbly made by practiced hands from scratch, our Hollandaise sauce is generously draped over two perfectly poached island fresh eggs on crusted English muffins, creating an opulent taste experience.

Breakfast Menu ** Reservation strongly recommended for breakfast.

Join us for an afternoon of unparalleled ambiance while dining at the only true al fresco restaurant in Waikiki.  On refreshing, light and health conscious note, our entree-sized salads offer a variety of culinary options, including our very popular Papaya Chicken Salad.  This is an EYE OPENER for those who think healthy means bland.  A colorful rainbow of lusciously ripe fresh fruit enfolds the plate with a balanced symmetry, highlighting the half papaya on a bed of mixed greens filled with the most captivating chicken salad ever!  The rich taste belies the ingredients, showing off a complexity and depth of flavor that explains why this is one our most popular lunch selections.
